Wynner’s Club

If you follow me on quite literally any social media platform, you know that working out is part of my daily life (who would have thought? not me) and variety is KEY to me keeping this work-out habit up. I first started using Classpass in 2019 and I loved it so much. I just love showing up, being told what to do, doing it and then leaving. It’s mind less for me than having to walk into a gym and making myself and telling myself what to do.

This is why I love Classpass so much, I can go to different classes depending on what part of my body I want to focus on that day and I can book it instantly! I’ve gotten several questions on which fitness classes I like in Charlotte, so here’s a list of my faves – let’s go!

Abs n Ass (Barry’s):

The title of this class tells you all you need to know! This is my favorite Barry’s class to attend during the week. Book with Chelsea or Paige for a workout that will kick your ass. I should also preface this by saying do not be intimidated by the red room, it can seem intense but as long as you go at a pace that you’re comfortable with and challenging yourself with – you’ll be good!

Toned (Fit Atelier):

If you’re into Barre workouts, working the muscles you ignore and a bomb ass r&b playlist… Toned is your best friend. I met Naomi (the creator of the class) a few years ago and I love how I feel every time I leave any of her workouts. Her class is one of my favorites I’ve ever taken. It’s difficult, low-impact and the music makes the time go by fast. Also, the aesthetic inside of Fit Atelier is just *chefs kiss*.

CoreClimber (Core704):

This class is different. Imagine climbing a mountain as your work-out! The main reason everyone should try this class out is because it’s only a 30 minute class. All you need is 30 minutes, anyway! You will burn beaucoup calories during this class, it’ll test your stamina and you’ll leave a better (and sweatier) person.

Group Strength – Lower Body (Functional Fit):

I love this class because you can go at your own pace. The class lists out a workout, circuit style with multiple rounds for the duration of class. Taylor motivates you through class and actually will help you improve form and technique. I think that is one downfall of group classes, is that you don’t get the attention to detail but you will get that here!

Performance 45 (SkyCycle):

I had to throw in a cycling class for y’all. This one takes it up a notch because its an outdoor cycling class located on a rooftop in Dilworth next to Not Just Coffee. Being outside makes that increase resistance, that much more bearable.

Full Body (SolidCore):

Saving the hardest for last, JK… or am I? LOL. I love Pilates even though I absolutely am not good at the reformer (I try though). Personally, Pilates makes me feel like a rich housewife. It’s low-impact, but truly builds and works the muscles that you wouldn’t usually work out at the gym. Don’t let the machine intimidate you, there are modifications for most poses.
