Happy Tuesday!
It’s May and we’re still staying home, social distancing, and eating allll the take-out. It seems like there’s no end in sight for COVID-19, but as a little pick me up I thought that putting together a list for Travel Amazon finds would be good so we can have something to look forward to!
Amazon gets me through almost every trip with things that I continue to add to my “necessities” list. Trust me, when we start traveling again you’ll want these items on your packing list.
I may earn a small commission for my endorsement, recommendation, testimonial, and/or link to any products or services from this website.
1. Collapsable Water Bottle.
Not only are plastic water bottles bad for the environment. But they’ll always eat at your money because you’ll buy them more frequently. Collapsable water bottles are complete life savers, and the best part? They fit anywhere! In purses, carry-ons, and even in sweat pant or hoodie pockets.
2. Good Pair of Shoes
I love Nikes, they are all I wear on travel days. These Pegasus’s are a comfortable [and neutral] pair of shoes for an active travel day!
3. Packing Cubes
Packing cubes are LIFESAVERS. Not only do they make it easier to access your clothes [without undoing your entire luggage], they also make your clothes less creased. Packing cubes are great to get some organization going in your packing routine – put all the small stuff together, bigger things, dresses, bathing suits, etc.
4. House Slippers
House slippers for travel? Yes. Have you ever thought about how DIRTY hotel room floors are? They are absolutely disgusting. If I don’t have slippers in hotels, I feel so dirty. Not only are slippers great for hotel rooms but also for when you’re on the plane. Switch your shoes out for the slippers and be more comfortable, especially on long haul flights.
5. Portable Door Lock
I obsess with true crime podcasts. But like any good true crime junkie, I’m paranoid x 100. This portable door lock is great for added security for Airbnbs and even hotels! Portable door locks ensure that no one with a key to your short term rental can come in during your stay.
6. Neck Pillow
Plane travel is already uncomfortable. Make your trip that much comfortable with a memory foam pillow!
7. Multi Function Clothes Rack
Great product to use when you’re on a longer trip [maybe an international trip] and you need to hand wash your clothes. You still need actual hangers for this product, but it’s a small portable device perfect for drying in your hotel room.
8. International Travel Adaptor
Instead of playing the guessing game with each new country you visit, just buy a universal travel adaptor. Bring it with you wherever you go and never have to worry about if it’ll work or not. And don’t worry about having to keep buying different ones!
9. Makeup Remover Wipes
If it’s one thing I absolutely hate forgetting to pack on trips, it’s makeup remover wipes. I started buying mini remover packs around mid 2019 for all of my travel bags, so that I wouldn’t have to think about putting them in [they would already be there]. They’re also super cheap per pack!
10. Weekender Bag
I have a feeling that when quarantine gets lifted, there will be a ton of weekend and road trips. This bag is perfect for 2-4 day trips + even for a carry-on!
