It’s my second day of Blogtober and I’m here to talk about my 5 Travel Must Haves because there’s nothing worse than being uncomfortable while you travel. There’s a lot of must haves to take with you but who has time to list them all!? I’ve narrowed them down to the five best so that you can fit them comfortably them in your suitcase.

Collapsible Water Bottle:
By far, one of my favorites for traveling and working as well. Not only is a collapsible water bottle environmentally friendly it’s also easy to carry around when there isn’t water in it – in your pocket, bag, backpack. There are a bunch of collapsible bottles to choose from, but this is the bottle that I bought and love because it’s so easy to carry around and the cap is super sturdy!
Packing Cubes:
You have probably heard me rave about packing cubes over and over. I can’t lie, they changed my packing life. If you think you don’t have anymore room left, guess again because you most certainly do with packing cubes. My number one advice for choosing the best cubes are to pick ones with ample space (read the reviews!) – These are ones that I recommend but feel free to choose ones that fit your style better.
TimeShifter:
Kiss Jetlag, goodbye! My biggest pet peeve is getting jet lag when all I want to do is explore a new city. Now, there’s an app that will help you fight jetlag so the shock of a new time zone won’t hit you as bad – it’s called Time Shifter. Time Shifter has two different plans, a free one and one that costs $24.99 a year. Then, Time Shifter gives you a schedule with tips and advice on how to start adapting to the new time zone a couple of days before your flight, so that when you land you are all ready to go.
If you’re interested in more travel related apps, I wrote a post a couple of weeks ago on my top apps of 2018. You can read it here
Face Mist:
Let’s face it, airplanes are disgusting! That recycled air is too dirty to feel clean when you’re on a plane for multiple hours at a time. Something I ALWAYS use before, during, and after flying is face mist. It’s so refreshing and actually wakes me up if I’m catching an early or late flight. The face mist I personally love is the Evian Facial Spray – it’s on the cheaper side and lasts forever.
A Copy of Your Passport:
One of the more valuable lessons I’ve learned is to always take a copy of your passport when you travel. Worse case scenario you lose your passport and your flight leaves in 6 hours, you have a copy of your passport that you can show the embassy and even airline if you can’t get to the embassy in time.
I hope your next trip goes smoother with these 5 Travel Must Haves. If you have any questions or have your own Must Haves you want to share with me and my readers leave them below in the comments!
